Federal Chancellery (BK) Open Government Deutschland: First National Action Plan 2017 – 2019 – Full Version Cornerstones of open government

The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is an initiative founded in 2011 whose currently 78 participating states are committed to promoting open government. In exchange with civil society, the participating states draw up national action plans (NAP) every two years, which are regularly evaluated by the government itself and by the OGP’s Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM). The NAP contains specific and measurable commitments on open government. This is Germany’s first such action plan, published in August 2017.
