Germany has been participating in the Open Government Partnership (OGP) since December 2016 and is thus nationally and internationally - together with 78 other countries - advocating the promotion of open government. This includes transparency and participation, the fight against corruption and the use of new technologies to solve societal challenges. With the Final Report, the Federal Government provides an account of the implementation of the First National Action Plan.
