In 2025, the Federal Republic of Germany assumed investment guarantees totaling 1.2 billion euros. Although the new coverage volume is lower than the previous year’s figure of 1.5 billion euros, the number of applications approved in 2025 (60) rose compared with the previous year (54), with many applications coming from small and medium-sized enterprises.
