Finance (BMF) German Progress Report 2026

The federal cabinet adopted the annual progress report 2026 on 22 April 2026. The progress report focuses on Germany’s fiscal and economic policy, particularly budgetary trends, net expenditure growth and the reforms and measures being implemented by the federal government and the Länder in line with the country-specific recommendations of the Council of the European Union.
